Influencing Complex Systems
Tuesday, September 13, 2005

Effective enterprise leadership requires knowing how to work with complex systems, especially when leading change. Part of leadership at the enterprise leader level is to accurately assess business potential and develop a conceptual strategy. From his broad experience working in technical organizations with professionals making the transition to leadership roles and from his first-hand knowledge of General Electric's Leadership Development Course, Peter Krembs will examine what it takes to successfully implement and execute a well-thought-out strategy.

The International Enterprise Leader
Thursday, October 20, 2005

In today's economic environment, having a global perspective and an understanding of the ways of the world isn't a luxury. It's a competitive necessity. The complete leader must have the global vision and the cultural understanding not just to successfully engage in international markets, supply chains, and alliances, but also to tap into an increasingly global knowledge and resource base. Sri Zaheer will draw on examples of leaders who have demonstrated the value of a global mind-set to the strategy and performance of their enterprises worldwide. She will discuss what makes a global leader, and what you can do to enhance your enterprise leadership abilities for the global marketplace.

A Leader for Life
Tuesday, November 15, 2005

The complete leader champions the values of the business and builds the culture to support the goals of the enterprise. Kevin Cashman , author of Awakening the Leader Within (2003) and Leadership from the Inside Out (#1 best-selling business book of 2000 by CEO-READ), will discuss leadership elements that comprise the totality of enterprise leader, spiritual leader, visionary, and coach. Kevin will redefine leadership based on contribution versus role, and emphasize the three core dynamics supporting sustainable leadership, along with the principles of coaching self and others.
