ProgramAcademics

Carlson Part-Time MBA core courses offer an in-depth study of the foundational and functional areas of business. Advanced elective credits allow each student to tailor the program to meet specific career goals. In addition to lectures and guest speakers, students learn from case studies, discussions, presentations, and team projects.

Curriculum

Part-Time MBA students must complete 48 - 57 semester credits, based on prior educational experience. After taking the required core courses, which lay the foundation for understanding the functional aspects of business, you're free to design a program of study that best suits your career goals.

Professional Portfolios

Professional Portfolios help students build upon their education, experiences, and skills. They are advising tools that assist students in choosing elective courses and professional activities that build solid functional expertise in five leading career sectors: finance, consulting, marketing, information systems, and supply chain/operations. Portfolios are flexible and can also guide students with career objectives outside the traditional fields.
