Executive MBATuition & Financial Aid

A Carlson MBA is valued and recognized around the world. Not only can the degree help graduates take their careers to the next level, it can lead to life-changing opportunities, challenges, and experiences.

Tuition

Executive MBA program participants pay a comprehensive fee that covers tuition, books, class materials, meals, parking, and costs for the domestic and international residencies. Covered costs of the international residency include airfare to and from the site, lodging, ground transportation to and from all official visits, and most meals.

Tuition for the class of 2010 (students entering the program in the fall of 2008) is $88,650, divided evenly over four semesters. There is also a $750 non-refundable confirmation fee due upon acceptance of admission. The confirmation fee is not part of the total tuition fee. A new confirmation fee will be required for students wishing to defer admission.

FinancialAid

Many employers offer corporate reimbursement programs for employees who attend the Executive MBA program. To cover additional expenses, the University of Minnesota's office of student financial aid provides need- and non-need-based university, federal, and private educational loan programs. Unfortunately, Executive MBA students are not eligible for fellowships or scholarships.

External Scholarships

To apply for financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The University of Minnesota FAFSA federal school code is 003969. Prospective students may complete the FAFSA at any time; the office of financial aid will automatically process the application after the student has been admitted.

The Carlson MBA programs have a dedicated financial aid representative available to answer questions about loan programs:
