The Carlson School admits undergraduate students to the program once a year in the fall. While admission is competitive, we carefully assess every applicant's background and accomplishments, as presented in the application materials.
Most students are admitted to the Carlson School as freshmen, but a limited number of spots are available for transfer students in their sophomore or junior years.
Students in other majors at the University of Minnesota can pursue a management minor through the Carlson School. The minor provides a broad understanding of business principles with study in several functional areas of business.
