The Minnesota Executive Program provides world-class faculty that will meet your exacting criteria. As you cover the comprehensive breadth and quality of topics, the MEP faculty will inspire you.
Drawing from the academic side, you will work with notable professors from the Carlson School of Management, who are published researchers as well as visionaries. Carlson faculty are business innovators--of new fields and improved tools that benefit corporate performance. Carlson faculty are creators--of interdisciplinary ideas and applied thinking that influence global business economics.
Drawing from the business side, you will work with senior-level practitioners, accomplished thought leaders, and "been-there, done-that" chief operating officers who are internationally recognized. Their candor, as well as their concern for your success, sets the bar high in terms of transformational learning. |

MEP is comprised of four modules. Each module takes place one week a month over four months. The modules are held at the Radisson Hotel, Plymouth, MN; Minnesuing Acres, Lake Nebagamon, WI; and the Oak Ridge Conference Center, Chaska, MN. You have the option of taking the Fundamentals of Finance course prior to the program start. This is recommended for anyone without a substantial financial background. The finance course takes place at the Carlson School of Management.
The program pays for itself
Of course, you must put time, attention, energy, and focus into the program, but you and your company will see an immediate payback. You'll find that you're viewing problems and opportunities from a clearer perspective. You'll discover that you can implicitly see what steps need to be taken to create a solution or take advantage of a situation. And you'll have the skills-and the additional confidence-to make the right strategic decisions. |
| Candidates for this program are senior executives who have strategic responsibilities within their organizations and have about 15 years of business experience. To enhance the overall learning experience, we seek to admit people to the program with comparable management responsibilities and diverse skills and experiences. The Admission Committee takes into account a candidate's organizational level; management experience, especially in senior management; and future responsibilities. We seek to admit senior-level candidates who reflect a broad range of industries, functions, and backgrounds to enrich the networking and learning experience.
Class size is limited to maximize classroom and team participation, so early application is encouraged. Program applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed upon submission until the program fills. |

MEP is an intensive, highly-interactive residential program with evening sessions and team assignments that sometimes take place after the sessions. MEP Module I and III will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Plymouth, MN, Module II at Minnesuing Acres in Lake Nebagamon, WI, and Module IV at the Oak Ridge Conference Center in Chaska, MN. Pricing information can be found here: ACCOMMODATIONS
Please note that if you are unable to reside at the conference centers, you will still be responsible for the Day Meeting Package (facility, meals, snacks and other incidentals).
