JIM BANDROWSKI, President of Strategic Action Associates in Danville, CA, is the  author of Corporate Imagination—Plus: Five Steps to Translating Innovative Strategies into Action. As a consultant, trainer, and keynote speaker, he helps management teams achieve measurable breakthroughs in strategy, operations, and quality. His clients include GE, Disney, Merck, AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, Boeing, Kodak, Tandem Computers, TRW, Electronic Arts, Mannesmann, Chevron, Exxon, Saudi Aramco, McKesson Corporation, Safeway, Circuit City, Century 21, C. Itoh, First Nationwide Bank, Pacific Lighting, American President Lines, Moore Industries International, Verbatim, Syntex, Acuson, Consilium, Vlasic Pickles, Chateau St. Michelle, Cakebread Winery, Kaiser Permanente, United Health Care, HealthNet, U.S. Navy, and the Cities of Walnut Creek and Modesto.

 

Prior to founding Strategic Action Associates, Bandrowski was director of planning of DiGiorgio Corporation, a $1 billion conglomerate in San Francisco. He helped the company's ten food processing, building materials, and distribution businesses to out-innovate their competition.

 

Bandrowski has an MBA from NYU, an MS in management science/industrial engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a BE in chemical engineering from Villanova University. He has been a guest lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and regularly delivers courses in the executive and management education programs of the University of Chicago, University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Southern Methodist University and others. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Bandrowski is a frequent speaker at corporate events and conferences.
