Welcome toComputer Training

Carlson School IT offers small training sessions for Carlson School students, faculty, and staff for up to 20 people per session. Classes are conducted in Room L-117. All Carlson School students, faculty, and staff may attend computer classes at no charge. Training is currently available for Microsoft Office 2007 versions of Excel, PowerPoint, Access,Word, and Project. These classes are open to Carlson School only. University Technology Training Center also offers a variety of training options. See UTTC information below.

L-117 Computer Training Room Schedule

If the room is available, please send a request to csrmschd@umn.edu to reserve the room.  You must request security clearance from your department administrator in order to use the room. If security clearance is not obtained, you will not be able to access the room.


There is no food or beverage allowed in the classroom.The room must be secured at the end of class and the projector should be turned off.
