Through the full-time HRIR program, students spend 2 years (4 semesters) earning a masters degree that prepares them for careers with corporations and public sector organizations in human resource management, labor relations, and related areas.
The model is a partnership between faculty, students, and the broader HRIR community. The faculty and community provide extensive learning opportunities, while students develop critical competencies, both in and out of the classroom.
To provide a rigorous education across the entire field of HRIR, the curriculum is structured around 3 core areas and rooted in 3 key concepts from social science, behavioral science, and business. Students take core courses in all 6 areas.
