In addition to providing a thorough understanding of contemporary practices, underlying theories, and the major areas of HRIR, the part-time program helps students develop the conceptual basis and analytical framework for successful careers.
The model is a partnership between faculty, students, and the broader HRIR community. The faculty and community provide extensive learning opportunities, while students develop critical competencies and leadership skills, both in and out of the classroom.
To provide a rigorous education across the entire field of HRIR, the curriculum is structured around 3 core areas and rooted in 3 key concepts from social science, behavioral science, and business. Students take core courses in all 6 areas.
