Marketing and Logistics Management is concerned with the flow of goods and services through the economy and the distribution of both industrial and consumer goods. Because more than half the consumer's dollar goes to pay for marketing services, marketing is a very significant part of the economy and the efficiency with which marketing activities are carried out and has major social implications.
Our department consists of 20 faculty members committed to excellence in the full range of academic responsibilities. Our research-oriented faculty have made ongoing contributions to a wide range of marketing topics but historically our strengths have been in consumer behavior and marketing strategy (e.g., channels, pricing).
