Beginning in January, 2010, incoming students who are new to the University will be given a University Gmail account. Your email address will be the same format as those who do not have a Gmail account (xxxx####@umn.edu). If you were previously a University student or employee, you may not yet have a Gmail account, but you may be invited to "opt-in" at some point during the semester.
