Master of Business Taxation - header

Academics

Along with an in-depth study of taxation, the MBT program gives students a broad perspective into the relationship between tax and business issues. This combination can help professionals advance their careers beyond technical tax matters to positions in management and consulting. In addition, many MBT students bring years of experience to the classroom, creating an educational setting where students learn not just from instructors, but from each other. This can be particularly helpful for those enrolling directly from an undergraduate program.

Degreerequirements

The MBT program offers rigorous study in taxation. In addition to completing 30 credits, including 16 credits of required courses and 14 elective credits, students must submit papers of thesis quality to satisfy the Graduate School's Plan B writing requirement.
