The IT Service Center provides hardware support for Faculty, Staff and Ph.D. student desktops and laptops. This primarily includes troubleshooting, upgrades, and coordination of warranty repairs.
Primary support is for those machines on the IT Department’s Hardware Standards List and for those on previous years' lists. These include Dell desktops and laptops ONLY.
Note:
For those faculty and staff with Lenovo/IBM laptops, the IT Service Center will also coordinate upgrades and warranty repairs with Lenovo. Please be advised that support for Lenovo/IBM laptops may take additional time than Dell for repair depending on the service warranty contract purchased with the machine. If you are in need of repair of your Lenovo, IT Staff will look up the information and advise you at that time. Each Lenovo is different. |
