Richard Leider Faculty PhotoRICHARD LEIDER, founder and Chairman of The Inventure Group, is considered by many to be a true master and pioneer in the field of life coaching. Ranked by Forbes as one of the “Top 5” most respected coaches, he has thirty years' experience in coaching people to live and work on purpose. He is an internationally respected speaker, life coach, and author, who has written or co-written seven books including: The Inventurers, Repacking Your Bags, The Power of Purpose, Whistle While You Work, and Claiming Your Place at the Fire. The book Repacking Your Bags is an international best-seller published in 15 languages. A Nationally Certified Master Career Counselor, Leider also holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, and was named by the Minnesota Career Development Association as one of the top 10 most influential people in the career development field. His work received recognition from the Bush Foundation, where he was awarded a Bush Fellowship to study "purposeful aging."



Barb HoeseBARBARA HOESE is a principal and president of The Inventure Group where she has worked with such clients as Xerox, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Medtronic, the University of Minnesota Foundation, and the American Academy of Neurology to enhance leadership effectiveness, team synergy, and life planning. She has developed and led workshops and retreats in leadership, strategic planning and teaming, work/life balance, and interpersonal communications. In her coaching, Hoese works with executives and leaders to discover and use their best talents to find greater fulfillment and success in their work and life and to help them identify and lead from their strengths while addressing critical developmental areas. She received her coaching certification from the Coach Training Institute (CTI), and holds a master’s degree in Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas where she was the recipient of the James S. Fish Scholarship for integrity in communication.
