The IT Service Center provides printing support for Faculty/Staff and Ph.D. students. This includes troubleshooting, purchase consultation, and installation of network and local printers. There are approximately 85 network printers/copiers, and 200 local printers supported by the IT Service Center.
The IT Department does not install Network copiers/scanners. We will consult with IT Department specified vendors and Departments/Offices when network copiers are to be purchased. We will also work with the vendors and the Departments/Offices when they are delivered to set up the networking portion that allows the copier to be on the University network. This includes the scanning function.
IT support is not provided for individual scanners. Scanning should be done through your department's network copier/scanner. |
