Carlson School of Management

Corporate Partnerships

Partnerships with corporations and organizations are an important part of the success of the Carlson School’s international education efforts. By integrating experiential learning components, such as in-country visits with managers and working closely with peer business students abroad on Global Business Practicum projects, corporate professionals and business students share insights in distinct, practical ways on an array of international business topics.

Additionally, partner organizations benefit by working first-hand with potential future employees, and in live-case programs, are presented actionable recommendations from the students specific to their international business issue.

There are four primary ways that organizations engage with the Carlson Global Institute:

  • Hosting groups of business students at domestic or international corporate locations
  • Sponsoring Global Business Practicum projects
  • Serving as guest lecturers for classes
  • Provide financial support for student scholarships, global learning initiatives and research
