Off the Beaten Path: A Summer Internship in China

In summer 2013, Carlson School undergrad Alissa Nordstrom traveled to China for the first time, for an internship and research project. She worked for a financial and tax advisory firm in Beijing, and assisted Professor Paul Vaaler with research on domestic political factors affecting bank lending in China.
