Anchored in a vigorous yet achievable four-week program, this advanced business strategy and leadership development program is designed to transform your leadership capabilities from good to great.

One week a month from September through November and January —you will participate in a highly energetic, interactive environment that includes small group work, reflection, case studies, and live cases—all designed to improve your executive capabilities. And, best of all, the program will generate ROI for you and your organization.

MEP gives you the opportunity to:

  • Study with seasoned executive faculty who have produced a strong body of significant research
  • Learn successful applications as well as business theories
  • Augment the qualitative judgments and analytical techniques required to perform as an executive problem solver

Candidates for this program are senior executives who have strategic responsibilities within their organizations and have about 15 years of business experience.

Admission Requirements

To enhance the overall learning experience, we seek to admit people to the program with comparable management responsibilities and diverse skills and experiences. The Admission Committee takes into account a candidate's organizational level; management experience, especially in senior management; and future responsibilities. We seek to admit senior-level candidates who reflect a broad range of industries, functions, and backgrounds to enrich the networking and learning experience.

Class size is limited to maximize classroom and team participation, so early application is encouraged. Program applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed upon submission until the program fills.

Time Commitment: MEP is comprised of four program modules and an optional finance module. Each program module takes place one week a month.. The optional Finance Module is 2-days.

Tuition for MEP Program Modules 1–4 : $18,500; includes tuition, notebooks, and materials
Tuition for Finance Module (optional): $2,200; includes tuition, instructional materials, continental breakfasts, lunches, and coffee breaks each day.

MEP Conference Center Accommodations (not included in tuition): MEP is an intensive, highly-interactive residential program with evening sessions and team assignments that sometimes take place after the sessions. Even if you live in the Twin Cities, we strongly encourage you to reside at the local conference centers in order to take full advantage of the opportunities for socializing and to complete your team assignments.

Conference Center/Meals/Lodging: From $3,000 to $5,000 for all 4 modules (not included in the program tuition). A negotiated MEP group rate is payable directly to the conference centers. Please note that if you are unable to reside at the conference centers, you will still be responsible for the Day Meeting Package (facility, meals, snacks and other incidentals). The optional Finance Module is non-residential, but if you need lodging, see our Travel Information page for local accommodations.
