Sojourner completed his PhD in economics at Northwestern University. He also has an MA in public policy analysis from the University of Chicago and a BA in history from Yale University. Research interests include sources of human capital, impacts of unions in the economic and political arenas, and behavioral consumer finance decisions. Complementing his research interest, Sojourner has a wide range of policy experience including service as a fellow with the U.S. Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
