Graduate School Fellow
Work & Organizations

John-Gabriel Licht is a doctoral candidate at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. His research investigates the way that different people self-regulate their responses to social contexts (e.g., supervisor influence, workgroup diversity) and ultimately harm and/or help others in the workplace. This has lead to work on the topics of positive and negative extra-role behaviors, unethical workplace behavior, social processes and emotions in the workplace, and workgroup diversity.

Prior to studying organizational behavior at the Carlson School of Management, Gabe grew up in Wahpeton, North Dakota, received a B.A. in psychology from the University of North Dakota, and worked as a mental health technician at a psychiatric care center.
