The Carlson Funds Enterprise (CFE) allows MBA and undergraduate finance students the opportunity to manage over $38 million of real investment money. Although students are guided by two professional directors and two academic advisors, the CFE students take total control of the money management process. Not only does the program allow students to learn about real-word investment management, but participants are able to earn competitive returns as well.
In 2009, the Carlson School became one of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute's Program Parners. The CFE is proud to be a Program Parner and is fortunate to be able to collaborate with the CFA's local MN chapter on events, speakers, and exam prep courses.
In 1998, a group of investment professionals became dedicated to making this program one of the best student-managed funds in the country. Like proud fathers, our founders enjoy seeing how much the program has grown over the years. We want to thank them for all their contributions - we wouldn't be here without their perseverance.
