Forté Foundation is a consortium of major corporations and top business schools that has become a powerful change agent in educating and directing talented women toward leadership roles in business. Forté Foundation's mission is to substantially increase the number of women business leaders by increasing the flow of women into key educational gateways and business networks. The Carlson School of Management is a sponsor school and proud supporter through membership and co-sponsoring our Forté Fellows - two full-time MBA women per year.

Previously known as National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA), MBA Women International is a not for profit organization dedicated to the advancement of business women as corporate leaders, executives and entrepreneurs- enriching workforce diversity around the world. The organization serves four related client groups: female MBA students, female business professionals and entrepreneurs, universities and corporate partners.
The National Association of Asian MBAs has the mission of connecting and empowering Asian American leaders, fostering dialogue, and mobilizing professionals within the workplace and community. As a unified front NAAMBA aims to raise awareness of crucial Asian-related issues and to build the visibility of professional Asian Americans beyond the low to middle layers of management, targeting executive positions and beyond.
The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African Americans by providing innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth, building partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth, and increasing awareness and facilitating access to graduate management education programs and career opportunities in management fields.
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs is a non-profit organization, widely known as the "Premier Hispanic Organization." NSHMBA serves 36 chapters and 8,600+ members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It exists to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S., so that they can provide the cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation's diverse workforce.
Reaching Out MBA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes the education, visibility and networking capabilities of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender business leaders in the United States and around the globe. The organization targets graduate business students and a broad range of corporations as it seeks to increase the awareness of LGBT issues in an increasingly diverse workplace as well as in public life. Reaching Out MBA, Inc. facilitates the formation of communities between and among students and the corporate sector in an ongoing effort to create the next generation of LGBT business leaders.
The PhD Project's mission is to increase the diversity of corporate America by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. The PhD Project attracts African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to business Ph.D. programs, and provide a network of peer support on their journey to becoming professors. As faculty, they serve as role models attracting and mentoring minority students while improving the preparation of all students for our diverse workplace and society. As a proud supporter of the PhD project, the Carlson School of Management actively recruits individuals into our Doctoral programs.
