UnitedHealth Group President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen J. Hemsley will headline the next Carlson School of Management's "1st Tuesday Speaker Series" when he presents "The Evolution of a Business - Diversify, Adapt, Innovate, and Grow" on March 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center.
Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group as senior executive vice president in 1997, Hemsley was managing partner in strategy and planning and chief financial officer for Arthur Andersen, LLP. Hemsley has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, and is currently a member of the board of directors of UnitedHealth Group. He is also a lay member on the board of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Hemsley holds a bachelor's degree from Fordham University.
