Dean Davis-Blake Accepts Offer to Assume Deanship at University of Michigan

Dean Alison Davis-Blake has announced that she has accepted an offer to assume the deanship at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan effective August 22nd of this year.

"The deanship at the University of Michigan presents a unique professional opportunity for me at this point in my career," said Davis-Blake. "I am grateful for the chance to have served the Carlson School of Management over the past five years, I am proud of what we have accomplished together and I am confident in the successes that lie ahead."

Decisions regarding interim leadership of the school and a search for a permanent replacement will be determined by Senior Vice President and Provost, Tom Sullivan. It is expected that the Provost will communicate about these matters as soon as plans are developed.

Davis-Blake adds, "In the meantime, I am committed to remaining fully engaged in the affairs of the Carlson School through the end of my tenure here and I look forward to continuing our work together to advance academic excellence at the Carlson School of Management."
