The undergraduate chapter of Net Impact at the Carlson School was recently given a "gold" designation, ranking it as one of Net Impact's top chapters. Just nine out of the 67 undergraduate chapters received the "gold" honor this year.
Net Impact is an international nonprofit group with a mission to educate and equip students and professionals to use business skills to build a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.
Net Impact chapters receive a gold or silver designation by meeting a rigorous set of requirements based on their activities, programming, and membership reach. The designations are bestowed by Net Impact's central office in San Francisco. Net Impact recognizes gold chapters in its annual Net Impact Conference, on its website, and in its publications.
At the Carlson School, the undergraduate chapter is responsible for Carlson Goes to Work, a day in which students, staff, and business professionals conduct business-focused community service at local non-profits.
