Sarah Gisser, most recently a senior group manager at Target Corporation, has been named to the position of professional director of the Carlson Consulting Enterprise.
Gisser has a history with the Carlson School's Enterprise programs, having served as an associate director of the Consulting Enterprise and the Brand Enterprise in 2005-06 and 2009-10. In her new role as director, Gisser is responsible for recruiting students, teaching classes on consulting skills, developing business relationships, coaching teams, and mentoring students.
"We're very excited to have Sarah joining our team," said Phil Miller, the former Consulting Enterprise director and now assistant dean for the MBA Programs and Graduate Business Career Center. "The Enterprise programs are critical to Carlson's delivering a world-class, hands-on learning experience for our students. Sarah's impressive background in industry and consulting combined with her focus on student mentorship make her a great addition to our program."
As a senior group manager at Target, Gisser was a team leader in designing, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative consumer research to drive the company's merchandising and marketing strategies for its home and seasonal businesses. Prior to Target, she was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in Minneapolis and worked on a series of brand management assignments for the Procter & Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Gisser has a BSB from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where she majored in management and strategy, finance, and organizational behavior.
