Attorney Brendan Cummins and LES staff member John See will teach "The Law and Social Media" on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This course will show how unions are using social media tools like Facebook and Twitter most effectively, some best practices to follow, how the National Labor Relations Board and courts have responded, and what your legal rights and risks are on-line. Tuition is $50. Registration deadline is Jan. 10.
"Introduction to the Labor Movement" will be taught online from Feb. 1 to 28 by LES staff member Randy Croce. Students will be able to participate from anywhere, at times convenient to them.
