MBAContacts

What is MBA Contacts?

For the 2007-08 academic year, the MBA Student Affairs office is conducting a new initiative- MBA Contacts. The purpose is to connect students in the beginning stages of the program with experienced MBA students and alumni who can provide insight on managing classes, expanding networking opportunities and learning more about what the Carlson School has to offer.

How does it work?

Students and their MBA Contact are encouraged to meet at least once in person during the academic year. Additional communication may take place in person, over email or on the phone, depending on the communication preferences of the pairing. A social event will be held during the year to foster interaction as well. Contact information is given to both parties, along with a short list of expectations and suggested conversation starters.  The commitment is for the year and at the end both parties will receive a brief survey to evaluate the program and collect suggested improvements.

How do I get involved with MBA Contacts?

If you would like to be matched with a Contact partner, please download the application below. Spots may be limited, so sign up today. Applications are due Friday, October 5. The MBA Student Affairs office will match students and their Contacts.
