“I was at a point in my career where I’d been fairly successful, but felt I needed to broaden my business knowledge,” says Michael. “The Carlson School helped me achieve my goals. It provided a problem-solving framework to think through a whole range of problems, from financial and political issues to business strategies and human capital.”

Michael says he “pulled a gold nugget” out of every class, and often relies on his new business knowledge to drive and support change within Toro®. Making the transition back to school was not as difficult as he imagined: “The school took away the administrative burdens, and offered very defined coursework objectives, so we could still focus on our jobs.
