For Leah, voted Student of the Year in 2007, pursuing a Carlson MBA was the obvious choice: “They have the premier program in the market in terms of rankings, accreditation, and reputation,” she says. “One of the things I loved about the Carlson School was the ability to create your own portfolio of courses. While I primarily took marketing courses, I was able to supplement my coursework with finance and operations classes, which made me more well-rounded and marketable.”

Leah was impressed with the broad business exposure she gained. She credits campus recruiting efforts for helping her land a position with Ecolab as a product line manager. “I’ve definitely achieved my career goals,” she says. “Personal development and new friendships were an added bonus.”
