Carlson School alumnus Paul Karos was the former president of equity capital markets at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray. He was responsible for equity research, investment banking, capital markets, and institutional sales and trading. Throughout the early 1990s, Paul was consistently ranked the #1 airline analyst on Wall Street. Additionally, Paul is an exceptional lecturer, with a story sure to inspire any audience and has been featured in the New York Times In 1997, as well as the St. Paul Pioneer Press in 1998. Following the lecture, a complimentary lunch will be served.

We will provide transportation to and from the Carlson School, at no charge to you. The day will begin with an introduction and breakfast by Travelers executives. Next, you will join functional groups for a job shadow experience (i.e. actuarial, general management, finance, sales/marketing, HR, MIS/IT, etc.). Following lunch, students and Travelers employees will participate in a community service event. Afterwards, students will board the bus back to the Carlson School. Sign up for this event today! The Engage! search is now available for Twin Cities students and gives undergraduate students an easy way to intentionally connect with meaningful experiences outside of the classroom. The search accesses Web sites that are directly related to engagement opportunities, such as learning abroad programs, student organizations, community involvement, undergraduate research, and others, so that students can use one search to explore opportunities from a broad range of sources. Students can tailor their searches to specific academic majors and disciplines, and to their other interests and goals.
