Carlson Building Updated with New Wireless N Infrastructure!
Configure your U of M Secure connection by visiting carlsonschool.umn.edu/wireless
After a successful pilot of the new wireless infrastructure in Hanson Hall, central network and telecom services have upgraded the Carlson School building with this same technology. What does that mean to you? No more switching between two different networks! Given that both buildings offer this new technology, IT Student Services highly recommends students configure the U of M Secure connection for the semester.
The U of M Secure connection offers two key benefits: a permanent login for the semester (as if you are running VPN), and a secure connection through a public internet. For information on how to configure the U of M Secure connection please visit carlsonschool.umn.edu/wireless. Contact IT Student Services with concerns at 612-625-5550.
