2009 State of the County Address

Hennepin County Commissioner Mike Opat will deliver the address. The speech is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided afterwards. Sponsored by Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP, which is located at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA). The HUP works to make connections between Hennepin County and the University of Minnesota where mutual interest and benefit can be found and is housed in Humphrey.

Justice Jam Fest

Justice Jam is a outdoor music festival that is a celebration at the end of a week-long series of student group coalition events called Actifest, April 27 - May 2. It will be taking place in Minneapolis’ East River Flats Park below Coffman, in-between East River Road and the Mississippi River on May 2. As an information session ambassador, your goal is to ensure that information sessions run smoothly by greeting the company representatives, helping them set up their presentation, and assisting with clean-up. The 4th Annual SCOC Case Competition
