The PhD program in Human Resources and Industrial Relations is being integrated into the Carlson School's PhD program with the addition of a Work and Organizations track that joins the other traditional business tracks. While the name of the degree is changing, the degree program remains the same.
The Department of Work and Organizations will continue to offer the same rigorous curriculum, rich opportunities for research collaboration with world-renowned faculty, and the ability to develop a teaching portfolio in support of rewarding academic careers in organizational behavior, human resource management, organizational economics, labor relations, and related areas.
For Fall 2014 admission, interested students should apply directly to the PhD program in Business Administration; the applications will be reviewed by faculty from the Department of Work and Organizations. For more information, please browse the PhD program in Business Administration website, including the material on the Work and Organizations track.
