That's why we've introduced an international experience requirement for all undergraduates:

  • To encourage mutual understanding, communication, and collaboration with colleagues and students abroad.
  • To support your development as an authentic global business leader.

A team of advisers at the Carlson Global Institute is available to help students and parents understand these education abroad options. You may choose and apply to the program that provides the best opportunity to meet your career goals and area of study:

Global Enrichment

  • Graduate and undergraduate opportunities
  • Short-term courses of 2 weeks in length plus predeparture coursework
  • Offered in January and May
  • Taught in English
  • Earn up to 4 credits
  • Study with Carlson and international faculty
  • Includes topic-based seminars and live business cases

Global Immersion

  • Graduate and undergraduate opportunities
  • Semester and summer length programs at partner business schools
  • Study with host university students and other international students
  • Courses offered in English and the local language
  • Semester programs offer up to 16 credits
  • Summer programs offer 4 - 8 credits
