Assistant Professor
Accounting

Biography

I am an assistant professor of accounting at University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. I received a Ph.D. in accounting from Duke University Fuqua School of Business in 2023.

My research lies at the intersection of financial accounting and corporate finance, with a focus on information disclosures and financial risk management. My current research aims to understand how market information shapes firms’ financial hedging efficiency, how banks’ financial disclosures relate to their funding stability, and the interplays between corporate risk management and accounting discretion.

I worked as a senior auditor at PwC in New York from 2014 to 2018. My clients included public and private companies in the manufacturing, utilities, and energy industries.
