Learn How Digital Technologies are Shaping Agribusiness

The next Business by Carlson Quarterly Report will be broadcast on WCCO Radio Tuesday, June 26, from 11:00 a.m. to noon from the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. Join on air or in person to find out how digital technologies are re-shaping agribusiness from field to fork in Minnesota and around the world.

Many know that Minnesota is both a center for high-tech and agri-business industries, but few know how closely related the two industries have become. Today, agribusiness is critically reliant on digital technologies permitting satellite-based analyses of arable land, hand-held analyses of field nutrients, and business-to-business sales of agricultural commodities and finished products locally and globally.

“A Byte to Eat: Understanding How Digital Technologies Are Changing Agribusiness in Minnesota and Around the World” will feature former Cargill CEO Greg Page, Land O’Lakes COO Beth Ford, and Professor and Pond Family Chair in the Teaching and Advancement of Free Enterprise Principles Myles Shaver. This panel will be moderated by WCCO’s Dave Lee and Professor Paul Vaaler.
