Dr. Kalan Norris is a Post Doctoral Associate in the Work and Organizations Department at the Carlson School of Management. His research and teaching specialize in the areas of organizational behavior, leadership, diversity and inclusion, power and influence, and research methods. Kalan’s primary research focus centers on diversity and inclusion, with a particular emphasis on examining within-race differences to better understand the nuanced experiences of racially and ethnically diverse employees. His research is published in reputable outlets such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, and the Future of Scholarship on Diversity and Inclusion in Organizations. Kalan holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University at Buffalo School of Management, a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Valdosta State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Norris is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
